Kywynn's History
My early days were spent traveling from town to town with my physically and mentally abusive parents, selling their wares while they drowned their sorrows in drink. We weren't poor, and we weren't rich, we always had just enough to buy our next meal. I dreamed of a different life, one where I could be free from their cruel grasp. Then, one pivotal day, as we arrived in a new town, I felt a glimmer of courage growing within me. I couldn't bear the thought of another day under their oppressive rule. So, as the moon rose high in the sky, I made my escape. With nothing but the clothes on my back and a longing for a better life, I set out on my own, determined to face the unknown.
As I wandered from town to town, I relied on my wits and the kindness of strangers to survive. I would perform small tasks in exchange for a meal or a place to sleep. The world outside my parents' shadow was daunting, but I embraced the freedom it offered. One chilly evening, after days of being on the road, I stumbled upon a small village hidden amidst the towering trees. The villagers welcomed me with open arms, and I found solace in their warmth and kindness. They offered me shelter and a place to call home, if only for a while.
Heartbroken and uncertain of my place in the world, I knew I could no longer stay in the village that held so many painful memories. With tears streaming down my face, I bid farewell to the friends I had made and set out on my own once more. Determined to find a place where I truly belonged, I ventured into unexplored lands. I crossed treacherous mountains, sailed through stormy seas, and braved the darkest of forests. Along my journey, I encountered mystical creatures and encountered new realms, each leaving an indelible mark on my soul.
As the seasons shifted and time marched onward, I never ceased my quest for a place to call home. I visited bustling cities and serene countrysides, always searching for the elusive feeling of belonging. Along the way, I forged my own identity, grew stronger in my resolve, and discovered my purpose in life. Finally, after many long years of searching, I stepped foot in city unlike any other I had seen before. It was a place where people of all races lived harmoniously. Here, In this city called Gahlen, I felt the warmth of a true home for the first time.
